Music Therapy
Music Therapy is a registered clinical intervention delivered by a qualified music therapist. Music therapists work with a number of clients with a variety of conditions and disabilities with the aim to support them within their lives with music and a person-centred approach. In music therapy, a trusting therapeutic relationships can be developed between the music therapist and the clients to effectively help them with their needs. Music therapists can work in a variety of settings: schools, hospitals, care homes and other clinical settings. They may provide music therapy to children with neurodivergent conditions, adolescents, peoples struggling with mental health, adults with brain injuries or for those living with dementia along with other client groups.
